Music is woven into the very design of our universe.
Job 38:4,7 says:
"Where were you when I laid the foundation of the earth? When the morning stars sang together, and all the sons of God shouted for joy?"
The stars were singing, according to God, when He "laid the foundations of the earth" (Job 38:4) They continue to sing today, according to NASA.
NASA has discovered a group of massive red stars that are actually humming to themselves. The planet-hunting Kepler space telescope recently spotted sound waves emanating from the stars. NASA recorded the tune, and played it at a press conference in Denmark. “It is a giant red concert,” says the astronomer who made the recording. “They have many different frequencies and overtones.”
“To measure the size of the star, we essentially measure the tone of these musical notes,” says one astronomer. “The sound waves travel down into the star and bring information back up to the surface of the star that Kepler can see as flickering.”
NASA also discovered that not only is music emitted, but the music being emitted is in a major key. The music being emitted from these stars is harmonious. NASA compared the music being emitted from these start sources to the instruments of an orchestra that are all in tune with each other. The stars are still "sings" from the original Creation and they are actually harmonizing with each other. This is evidence that God designed music and wants us to use it in our worship of Him.
