I. GENERAL SIGNS

A. Matthew 24:4-12 [See Paper on Matthew 34: it is currently being  updated.

1. “…Beware that no one leads you astray…lead many astray.” vss.  4, 5. 

2. Wars and rumors of wars don’t be alarmed the end [consummation of the age] is not yet vs. 6.  

3. Nation against nation; kingdom against kingdom, famines and  earthquakes in various [unusual?] places. vs. 7. 

4. “all this is but the beginning of the birth pangs” [of a new  age/world]. vs. 8. 1 Thessalonians 5:3. 

5. Believers tortured and put you to death, “hated by all nations because of my name [people].” Vs. 9. – John 15:18; 17:14; Matthew 10:22.

6. You will be hated by all nations [peoples] because of my name. vs. 9 7. The Falling Away; betrayal & hatred. vs. 10 2 Thessalonians 2:1-1 8. False Prophets arise, lead many astray. vs. 11.

1). Colossians 1:5b, 6 and 23 – “ye heard before in the word of the truth of the gospel. Which is come unto you, as it is in  all the world: …be not moved away from the hope of the gospel,  which ye have heard, and which was preached to every creature  which is under heaven;…” 

2). Romans 10:18 – “...hearing by the word of God. But I  say, Have they not heard? Yes, verily, their sound went into all the earth, and their words unto the ends of the world.

II. SPECIFIC SIGNS OF CHRIST’S COMING

A. Matthew 24:30-34 Budding of the Fig Tree [Nation of Israel – May 14- 15, 1948. See Paper on Matthew 34: it is currently being updated.]  B. Ezekiel 37:1-28 – “…set me down in the midst of the valley which was full  of bones. …and lo, they were very dry” - Re-gathering of Israel as a Nation. C. Ezekiel 38:1-13 – The Gathering of the nations around Israel. [See Paper:  “Armageddon, How Soon” & “Armageddon”.] 

D. Psalm 83:5-12 – “…they are confederate against thee…” [See Paper by  the same name.] 

E. Revelation 16:12-16 – “And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs come  out of the mouth of the dragon [China and other pagan/atheistic countries? The  ‘clay’ of Daniel 2:41], and out of the mouth of the beast [false Universal Church],  and out of the mouth of the false prophet [Islam].” [See paper: “The ‘Unclean  Spirits’ of Revelation 16:13”.]

III. ARMAGEDDON [Harmagedon]: [See Paper: “Armageddon, How Soon” & “Armageddon”.] 

A. Revelation 16:14b-17 “…to gather them to the battle on the great day  of God the Almighty. …he gathered them together into a place called in the  Hebrew tongue Armageddon.” 

B. Ezekiel 38:1-17 “…Gog in the land of Magog; …that the heathen may  know me… saith the LORD God, that my fury shall come up in my face. For in my  jealousy and in the fire of my wrath have I spoken, surely in that day there shall  be a great shaking in the land of Israel;…” 

C. Ezekiel 38:18-39:29 – “…bury Gog… call it The Valley of Hamongog…” D. Zephaniah 3:8 – “…gather nations …assemble the kingdoms, to pour  upon them my indignation, even my fierce anger: for all the earth shall be  devoured.” 

E. Joel 3:1, 2, 9-16 – “…I will gather all nations and bring them down to the  valley of Jehoshaphat, and I will enter into judgment [Hebrew: yeh-haw  (Jehovah)-shaw-fawt (to Judge)] with them there, [read this entire verse] valley of Jehoshaphat, …Let the nations rouse themselves, and come up to the  valley of Jehoshaphat for there I will sit to judge all the neighboring nations.” F. IV. RETURN OF CHRIST & FIRST RESURRECTION - “OUT FROM AMONG: A. Return of Christ:

B. First Resurrection of the True Believers ONLY: 

1. Philippians 3:10, 11 – “…resurrection of the dead [“’ek’ out from  among the dead…”] i.e. the First Resurrection.

V. 1000 YEAR REIGN OF CHRIST & TIME FOLLOWING 1000 YEAR REIGN: A. Revelation 20:5, 6 “…priest of God and of Christ and they will reign with  him a thousand years…” Who will we be “priests” over? See also 1 Peter 2:5. B. Isaiah Chapter 2 – “…the mountain of the LORD’s house …learn war no  more…” 

C. Isaiah Chapter 11 “…a rod out of the stem of Jessie …the spirit of the  LORD shall rest upon him…” 

D. Acts 3:19-23 ‘…the times of restitution of all things …A prophet shall  the Lord your God raise up…” [Deuteronomy 18:15, 18] 

E. Isaiah Chapters 30 – 35 “…a king shall reign in righteousness…” F. Isaiah Chapter 60 – 64 “…one hundred years old…” 

G. Zechariah 14:16-21 – “…shall even go up from year to year to worship the  King, the LORD of Hosts…”

J. The Throne of Christ:

4. Ezekiel 21:25-27 “…I will overturn, overturn, overturn, it: …until  he comes whose right it is; and I will give it him.”

1. Isaiah 11:1-5 – “…the spirit of the LORD shall rest upon him…” 2. Micah 4:1, 2, & 7 – “…beat swords into plowshares…”

L. Temple in the 1000 Reign of Christ: 

1. Zechariah 6:12 – “…even he shall build the temple of the LORD…” 2. Acts 15:15-18 – “…will build again the tabernacle of David…” 3. Amos 9:11-15 – “…I will raise up the tabernacle of David…” 4. Ezekiel Chapter 40 – 48 – “…he brought me to the temple…” 

M. Death: Isaiah 65:20 – “…no more thence an infant of days, nor an old  man …shall die an hundred years old…” [Who does this refer to? The non believers alive after the Battle of Armageddon! See Ezekiel 39:2; Zechariah  13:8.] 

N. Christ Supreme [God not physically present]  

1. Zechariah 6:13 – “…The BRANCH …and shall sit and rule upon his  throne…” 

2. 1 Corinthians 15:28 – “…then the Son himself will also be subjected  to the one who put all things in subjection under him, so that God may be  all in all…” Christ will be in charge until the Eternal Age when Jehovah  God will be All in All. 

O. Worship At Mount ZION [i.e. SION]: 

1. Isaiah 2:2, 3 & Micah 4:1, 2– “…the mountain of the LORD’s house  shall be established …and all nations shall flow unto it.” 

P. No More War during 1000 Year Reign of Christ: 

1. Isaiah 2; 4 & Micah 4:3 – “…they shall beat their swords into  plowshares, and their spears into pruning hooks: nations shall not lift up  a sword against nation, neither shall they learn war anymore.” Q. Animals at peace; men walk in righteous: 

1. Isaiah 11:6-11 – “The Wolf shall dwell with the Lamb; …the lion  shall eat straw…” 

2. Isaiah65:25 – “…They shall not hurt or destroy in all my holy  mountain…” 

R. No Sickness: 

1. Isaiah 33:24 – “And the inhabitant shall NOT say, I am sick…” 2. Isaiah 35:5, 6 – “…the eyes of the blind shall be opened …the lame  man shall leap as a heart…” 

S. PURE LANGUAGE: 

1. Zephaniah 3:9 – “Then will I turn to the people a pure language…”

T. Every Man his own Fig Tree: 

1. Micah 4:4 – “…they shall sit every man under his vine and under  his fig tree;…” 

U. LAND RESTORED: 

1. Isaiah 35:1, 2, 6-10 – “…the desert shall rejoice, and blossom as a  rose…” 

2. Isaiah 41:18-20 – “I will open rivers in high places, and fountains in  the midst of the valleys: I will make the wilderness a pool of water, and  the dry land springs of water…” 

3. Isaiah 55:12, 13 – “For he shall go out with joy, and be led forth  with peace: the mountains and the hills shall break forth before you into  singing, and all the trees of the field shall clap their hands…” Isaiah  41:17-19;  

4. Amos 9:11-14 – “…the days come, saith the LORD, that the  plowman shall overtake the reaper, and the treader of grapes him that  soweth seed; and the mountains shall drop sweet wine, and all the hills  shall melt…” 

5. Isaiah 66:22, 23 – “…the new heavens and the new earth, which I  will make shall remain before me.” Revelation 21:1-3; Isaiah 65:17; 2  Peter 3:13. 

V. Absolute/complete re-gathering of scattered Israel: 

1. Amos 9:15 – “…I will bring again the captivity of my people of  Israel, and they shall build the waste cities, and inhabit them; …And I will  plant them upon the land, and they shall no more be pulled up out of my  land which I have given them, saith the LORD thy God.” 

2. Ezekiel 39:25 & 28 – “Now will bring again the captivity of Jacob,  and have mercy upon the whole house of Israel, and will be jealous for  my holy name …Then shall they know that I am the LORD their God, …I  have gathered them into their own land, and have left none of them  anymore there…This is a really strong text, please read all of it. 

VI. WAR & FINAL PUNISHMENT & CLEANSING OF THE EARTH

A. Little Season: 

1. Revelation 20:1-3 – “…the Devil,… bound him a thousand years…”  2. Revelation 20:4, 5 & 6 – “…I also saw the souls [beings, persons] of  those who had been beheaded for their testimony to Jesus, and for the  word of God. They had not worshipped the beast, or its and had not  received its mark on their foreheads or their hands. They came to life and  reigned with Christ a thousand years. …This is the first resurrection.  Blessed and holy are those who share in the first resurrection. Over these  the second death has no power, but they will be priests of God and  Christ, and they will reign with him a thousand years.” –NRSV.

3. Revelation 20:7-10 – “Satan will be released from his prison and  will come out to deceive the nations …Gog and Magog, to gather them  together to battle [this is NOT Armageddon, although the same nations  are involved] …They marched up over the breadth of the earth and  

surrounded the camp of the saints and the beloved city. And fire came  down from heaven and consumed them. And the devil who had deceived  them was thrown into the lake of fire and sulfur, where the beast and  false prophet were [cast, RV 19:20, 21] and they will be tormented day  and night forever and ever [night will end prior to eternity beginning,  Revelation 22:5].”  

B. Last Resurrection: 

1. Jude 14, 15 – “…See, the Lord is coming with ten thousand of his  holy ones [angels], to execute judgment on all, and to convict every one of all the deeds of ungodliness that they have committed in such an  ungodly way…” - NRSV.  

2. Revelation 20:5, 12 – “(The rest of the dead did not come to life  until the thousand years were ended). …And I saw the dead, great and  small, standing before the throne [‘great white throne’ KJV] and books [Bible] were opened. Also another book was opened, the book of life [RV  

3:5; 13:8; HE 12:23, PH 4:3].” –NRSV. 

3. Revelation 3:5 – “He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in  white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but  I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels.” 4. Psalm 69:28 - “Let them be blotted out of the book of the living,  and not be written with the righteous.” See also: Deuteronomy 9:15;  29:20, PS 51:1; Isaiah 43:25. 

C. White Throne Judgment: 

1. Revelation 20:11-14 – “Then I saw a great white throne and the  one who sat on it; the earth and the heaven fled from his presence, and  no place was fond for them. And I saw the dead great and small standing  before the throne, the books were opened. Also another book was  opened, the book of life. And the dead were judged according to their  works, as recorded in the books. And the sea gave up the dead and were  in it. Death and Hades gave up the dead that were in them, and all were  judged according to what they had done. Then Death and Hades were  thrown into the lake of fire. This is the second death, the lake of fire; and  anyone whose name was not found written in the book of life was  thrown into the lake of fire.”  

2. 2 Corinthians 5:10, “For we must all appear before the judgment  seat of Christ; that everyone may receive the things done in his body,  according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.” 

D. Lake of Fire [Final Punishment by Destruction]:

1. Revelation 20:14, 15 “…death and hell [grave] were cast into the  lake of fire. This is second death …whosoever was not found written in  the book of life was cast into the lake of fire. 

2. 2 Peter 3:10-13 - “Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the  day of God…” 

3. Malachi 4:3 – “And ye shall tread down the wicked; for they shall  be ashes under the soles of your feet…” 

VII. ETERNITY: “time without end”… 

A. New Heavens and a New Earth: Revelation Chapter 21:1-3; Isaiah 65:17- 25 & 2 Peter 3:9-13 – “…behold, I create new heavens and a new earth: and  the former shall not be remembered, nor come into mind …Nevertheless we,  according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein  dwelleth righteousness.”  

B. Jehovah Supreme: 1 Corinthians 15:28 – “When all things are subjected  to him, then the Son himself will also be subjected to the one who put all things  in subjection under him, so that God may be all in all.”  

C. No Physical Temple but A Throne: Revelation 21:22 & 22:3 – “And I saw  no temple therein: for the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are the temple of it.  …but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it;...”  

D. No More Curse: Revelation 21:4 & 22:3 – “And God shall wipe away all  tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor  crying, neither shall there be anymore pain: for the former things are passed  away. …And there shall be no more curse:”  

E. See Jehovah God: Revelation 21:22 & 22:4 – “…Behold, the tabernacle of  God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and  God himself shall be with them, and be their God.”  

F. Worship the LORD: Isaiah 66:22, 23 – “…from one Sabbath to another,  shall all flesh come to worship before me…”  

G. An Everlasting Kingdom: Daniel 2:44, 45; 7:13-18, 27 & Revelation 11:13- 19 – “…the kingdom under the whole heaven. …the God of heaven set up a  kingdom, which shall never be destroyed: …The kingdoms of this world are  become the kingdoms of our Lord and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever  and ever…”  

Conclusion of the Matter: 

Mortal man cannot imagination what the Kingdom of God and Eternity will be  like. “…eye hath not see, nor ear heard, neither entered into the heart of man, the  things which God hath prepared for them that love him.1 Corinthians 2:9.  “For since the beginning of the world men have not heard, nor perceived by the  ear, neither hath the eye seen, O God, beside thee, what he hath prepared for him that  waiteth for him.” Isaiah 64:4.
