The Zodiac calendar, more commonly called the Chinese calendar is a Lunar-Solar calendar. Each year’s worth of time is named after an animal. 2025 was the Year of the Snake.
Multiple countries use a variation of this calendar, including: China, Vietnam, Malaysia, Taiwan,Korea, Indonesia, Singapore, Philippians.
A Lunar-Solar calendar is synced to the cycle of the moon within the Solar year. This is why Hanukkah always moves in relation to Christmas, as the Jewish calendar is also Lunar-Solar.
Like the Jewish calendar, the Zodiac calendar also moves around, there is Leap month instead of Leap Day.
2025 was the Zodiac calendar Year of the Snake. To those that follow that calendar, it is a year to focus on Wisdom to Cast off or transform. Think of snakes as they shed their old skin.
Romans 13:11-12
Besides this you know the time, that the hour has come for you to wake from sleep. For salvation is nearer to us now than when we first believed. The night is far gone; the day is at hand. So then let us cast off the works of darkness and put on the armor of light.
2 Corinthians 3:18
beholding the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from one degree of glory to another
As 2025 the year of the snake draws to a close and we switch over to the Year of the Horse on February 17, 2026, lets make sure that we also shed off the works of darkness and put on the armor of light.
