Names Again

Last week I wrote on Tuesday about how women's names have changed through the years. As a result, Viv sent this to me and I think you'll also enjoy, as did I. His is a rather unusual name in this day and age, but it was once quite popular. Click on the link and see when the popularity of your name peaked.

Paula wrote this about her relatives.
I had an aunt Dorothy, Aunt Bertha, and Great Aunt Edna.  Also, my great grandma Bolhous was named Bertha, though I never met her.  Oh yes, I had a great aunt Betty too.  Ethel Johnson, my 6th grade SS teacher, and Ida Turner come to mind, Ida still living, and celebrating her 95th?  birthday on the 20th?  Ask Jan.  Seems like there was a Gladys in the Oregon church when I was growing up, but can't think who it was.  There were 2 Mildreds in the Ripley church when I visited as a child.  One, Millie Laning.  My next door neighbor growing up was Florence, and I had classmates named Tammy.  I think I covered them all.  :-)  ~~ Paula

BUT most important remember where your name is inscribed. See Revelation 20:

"11 Then I saw a great white throne and Him who sat upon it, from whose presence earth and heaven fled away, and no place was found for them. 12 And I saw the dead, the great and the small, standing before the throne, and books were opened; and another book was opened, which is the book of life; and the dead  were judged from the things which were written in the books, according to their deeds.  15 And if anyone’s name was not found written in the book of life, he was thrown into the lake of fire."
