I am sure many of you have heard of American Sign Language, or ASL, how deaf people in the United States, Canada, and many more talk with each other using their hands. But, did you know it had a connection to Martha's Vineyard? How about a strong French connection?

You might wonder where I am going with this, but I was thinking about the British school. They were less than helpful. The Bible tells us:
And do not neglect doing good and sharing, for with such sacrifices God is pleased
do not merely look out for your own personal interests, but also for the interests of others.
Give to him who asks of you,
and do not turn away from him who wants to borrow from you.
Do not withhold good from those to whom it is due, When it is in your power to do it.
So we see, we should help others, which is like sewing seed:
2 Corinthians 9:6
Now this I say, he who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and he who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully.
and the end impact of that seed was:
British Sign Language (BSL), has few countries that the language is spoken in, however American Sign Language:
Then if you add in countries whose sign language is based on American Sign Language:
I am told people who speak French Sign language can communicate with people that speak American sign language... if we add French Sign Language spoken and countries whose language is based on French sign language:
We can truly see the impact and lasting legacy from the Paris School of the Deaf through Thomas Hopkins Gallaudet and Laurent Cleric openly sharing sign language with anyone.
