As you grow up, you know that Easter is about Jesus's death and resurrection, but for many Easter is the search for the Easter basket that has been hidden for you to find.
I have been thinking how for all of us, we search for what is missing inside of us, and we look for what can fill us.
For me, that search led me to Jesus at a young age, and finding Jesus and his Father are the best "Easter basket" I've found. For those that find Jesus, and follow his example into baptism, and how he led his life and taught about his Father, can have the best gift in life.
John 3:16 NASB For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life.
The search for a special gift in life can lead to a precious gift of eternal life. So at Easter when you are searching for your Easter baskets think about Jesus being the ultimate find, since it is only through the son, that we can reach the Father.
John 14:6 (NASB)
Jesus said to him, I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me.
Deuteronomy 4:29 (NASB)
But from there you will seek the Lord your God, and you will find Him if you search for Him with all your heart and all your soul.
Proverbs 8:17 (NASB)
I love those who love me; And those who diligently seek me will find me.
Jeremiah 29:13 (NASB)
You will seek Me and find Me when you search for Me with all your heart.
Acts 17:27 (NASB)
that they would seek God, if perhaps they might grope for Him and find Him, though He is not far from each one of us;
